Sonia and Miriam Albert-Sobrino didn't start making films until 2009. Extremely responsible from a young age, this couple of twins first pursued a career in Nursing before switching to filmmaking. Since then, they have been able to produce film work that has been screened in first level film festivals, such as Raindance, Edinburgh, IFFLA, Cans and Cinespaña, among many others.
Sonia and Miriam serve as programmers in several film festivals and in January 2017 they were the jurors of the short-films category at Slamdance.
They are currently pre-producing their second feature film, "Melita", while working on the distribution of their first feature film: "The Story of a Satellite".
