Bennion Scholars (April 1 Deadline)

Are you interested in creating real-world change? Then, the Bennion Scholars and the Community Engaged Certificate are right for you!

Bennion Scholars is an academic honor program that empowers students to create real-world change related to their area of academic study. Scholars hone their interests and commitment to specific communities as they complete 200 hours of service and a capstone project with a community partner and faculty mentor. The Bennion Scholars program is an excellent opportunity to join an interdisciplinary community of students interested in social change and community leadership. The Community Engagement Certificate is an academic credential that signals to employers and graduate schools your sustained commitment to addressing community issues through experiential learning and leadership. Students who complete the Community Engagement Certificate have the knowledge, skills, and confidence to build more just, equitable, and sustainable communities.
