The Wyoming International Film Festival welcomes you to celebrate independent film in the old west. Hosted in the capital city, Cheyenne Wyoming, WyoIFF is a 3-day celebration of movies, filmmakers, and the artists behind the work. Screenings are hosted in a brand new 400 seat theater with a state-of-the-art sound and projection system, ensuring a quality movie-going experience for filmmakers and audiences alike. Nightly parties and Q&As give ample opportunity to network and meet the filmmakers. The Wyoming International Film Festival is capped off with an award ceremony where we present 20 awards, along with more than $2,000 in prizes, to the winners of the festival. Join us for food, fun, and film!

As an international film festival WyoIFF welcomes movies from all over the world. We accept features, shorts, narratives, documentaries, music videos and web series of every genre. The Wyoming International Film Festival is committed to screening a diverse slate of stories with a broad spectrum of genres, topics and styles. Because we are a film festival run by filmmakers; the WyoIFF team guarantees every submission is watched in its entirety and considered by a committee of experienced industry professionals.

The Wyoming International Film Festival is dedicated to growing the filmmaking community of Wyoming. If you are a Wyoming resident, if your film was shot in Wyoming, or features Wyoming as a setting or story point, you can submit in either the "Wyoming Film" or "Wyoming Documentary" categories. These categories are discounted and eligible for cash prizes!
