CAFF and CATF are organized by EDI Media Inc. and endorsed by the Producers Guild of
America, Writers Guild of America as well as many major film studios, along with many Hollywood talent agencies and top filmmakers from both the U.S. and China.

Our mission is to promote industry collaboration and cultural exchanges between the US and China and provide students interested in film and television a platform to connect with top-tier industry professionals from both countries.

The 2020 16th Annual Chinese American Film Festival and Chinese American TV Festival will be held during November. Normally, we host our events in-person in Hollywood, but due to recent circumstances, our film festival will take place online this year.

Our hope is that regardless of medium, we may still provide students and recent grads an opportunity to showcase the work that they have created and to continue to pursue their goals to become filmmakers.

We also understand that since times may be difficult right now, we would like to offer to extend the deadline of the Early Bird application period (which waives the $50 short film and $150 feature film registration fee) for your students till August 31. The waiver code for the application is FREEAUG2020.

To submit, please have interested applicants fill out the attached form(s) with the requested materials and email their completed entry form to our Film Freeway here:
