PBS Utah is looking for a Production Assistant committed to doing the kind of work that builds public trust in journalism and storytelling, work that is skeptical, conversational and compassionate. The Production Assistant supports Producers and the Studio Manager with a variety of production-related responsibilities for series, documentaries, segments, and special programs. The PA edits a variety of short-form projects and is responsible for preparing shows for broadcast and web, including closed captioning; crews in the Studio and Control Room as technical director, camera operator, floor manager, and graphics operator; manages a project’s drives and media assets, and provides in-depth, fact-based story research.
