Summer Documentary Film Job
The PathMaker Programs for Cancer Research at the Huntsman Cancer Institute is looking for an experienced documentary film maker who is passionate about equity, diversity, and inclusion, and students from underrepresented population’s pursuit for higher education and careers in biomedical sciences.

This project will require the film maker(s) to follow 14 students from our PathMaker Scholars program throughout a 10-week period (June 1 – August 5). We hope to highlight their personal and professional transformation as they work with Principal Investigators at Huntsman Cancer Institute over the summer, concluding the program with a symposium honoring their achievements. The goal of this film is to showcase our program while highlighting the amazing students who participate in it.

Scope of Project
Film maker or film team will be responsible with pitching the vision of the film project to the PathMaker Program management. Filming would begin the first week in June, and conclude the first week in August. Goal of the project is to highlight the program and how we support students from populations underrepresented in sciences, in addition to show the perspective of the students. We want to show their story, and ultimately their successes.
