Job Description
This position will teach film students the building blocks and fundamentals of cinematography and video editing in today's high-demand working environments in the digital arts. Gaining real-world experience, the intern will assist in creating various pieces of content for Fieldcraft's various marketing channels including Youtube and Instagram and learn what goes into film production. With over 330,000 subscribes on Youtube and 306,000 subscribes on instagram, Fieldcraft Survival is a media company with experienced cinematographers working full-time as well as experts to teach survival to the masses. This internship position will have the creator's content seen by hundreds of thousands of viewers.

• Help prepare sets with lights, props, equipment etc.
• Assist director, camera people and other crew members
• Manage digital graphics and metadata for the production team
• Archive and sync datasets and files for optimal performance
• Suggest improvements for all deliveries as identified
• Carry out necessary administrative duties as required
• Perform clerical tasks as requested by the production team
• Make suggestions for improvements on elements within each project
• Record minutes of meetings for record and reference
• Brief production team’s needs and specifications
• Review shooting script and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenes’ value and contribution to continuity
• Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of films
• Input music, dialogues, graphics and effects
• Create rough and final cuts of various media
• Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running
• Consult with stakeholders from production to post-production process
• Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency
• Experience in Adobe Premiere Pro
• Portfolio of projects you have contributed to and your contribution for each project.
