Utah Cultural Alliance is a statewide advocate and voice for the humanities, arts and for-profit creative businesses, championing culture to elected officials and encouraging recognition of the vital role the arts play in invigorating Utah's economic, family, and community life. The Alliance is seeking a project intern to develop a platform--a "Netflix for the arts"--that gives instant access to a wide range of artworks from many media, using technology to bring great works of art to people wherever they are. Project tasks:
Create a financial model for the project
Contribute to a business plan for the project
Provide data to support the executive director's pitch deck
A passion for arts that fuels excitement about this innovative project
Strong knowledge and skill in finance with relevant experiences
A business development or strategy background, specifically market strategies for technology
The project is expected to last through Summer 2020, with an opportunity to extend for the right candidate. Internship hours are flexible, 10 - 20 hours per week. A stipend of up to $1,000 will be paid at intervals as project goals are completed. Project/stipend may be shared by 2 students, if desired.
