Study Film Abroad in Verona, Italy!

Are you looking for more opportunities to produce outstanding meaningful film work while elevating the quality and competitiveness of your portfolio? This is your opportunity! Join the Film and Media Arts Department in their new Study Abroad program in Verona, Italy. 

Study the fundamentals of filmmaking in Verona, an ancient city with stunningly well-preserved ancient buildings, winding streets and a lively art scene. Verona is a UNESCO World Heritage Site with plenty to admire including a Roman amphitheater that seats 30,000, museums, and even a monument dedicated to the mythical couple Romeo and Juliet. The program includes several cultural events such as attending an Italian opera in the amphitheater. Excursions will include the city of Venice and local towns around Verona.

Make a film or a Media Arts Project in one of the most gorgeous and cinematic places in Europe. Shoot in the locations of renowned films such as Forster's Quantum of Solace, Lexton's In Search of Fellini or Winick's Letters to Juliet. Learn from skilled and internationally-trained-filmmakers how to successfully produce a film with a worldwide impact. 

Courses Offered: FILM 2500 and/or FILM 3945.

Program runs from June 14 - July 12, 2022.
