Register Now for the Sundance Film Festival Workshop!

Did you know that you can receive course credit while experiencing one of the most important independent film festivals that there is? The Sundance Film Festival Workshop immerses students in the world of independent filmmaking, and encourages them to take advantage of the famous film festival happening in their community.

The class will give students 3 hours of credit for attending and experiencing the Sundance Film Festival—one of the most prestigious events of its kind. The workshop will also acquaint students with a critical approach to viewing and expressing ideas about each film they experience.

The class will meet twice, before and after the festival, to cover course requirements and festival logistics. There will be a brief discussion on the history of the Independent Film, which The Sundance Film Festival has championed throughout its history. The final class meeting will discuss various aspects of the festival--films, seminars, independent filmmaking, and will allow time for a discussion of the films seen by students.
