Winners Announced in 1st Annual F&MAD Short Script Competition

The Film & Media Arts Department at the University of Utah is proud to announce the winners of its first short script competition.

Dylan Bassham won 1st place for his script “Camel” which follows the struggle of a young man in a hostile, addictive world. In 2nd place, Brogan Luke Bouwhuis won for “The Salesman” and Stephanie Scott took 3rd place for “Out”. “Camel” is currently under production by the new Filmmaking II class and will be finished during the 2018 spring semester. Plans for the film include a festival run and IMDb credits for the students involved. 

The competition for fall 2018 begins on November 15 and is open to all registered students at the University of Utah. For details, visit: https://filmfreeway.com/FMADShortScriptCompetition.
